Our Pet Stylists...
Deborah Bentley
Founder/Owner
Thank you for viewing our website!
I am the owner and founder of Petropolitan dog grooming, established in 2008.
In 1986, Prior to establishing Petropolitan, I attended and graduated from Sunny Slope Dog Grooming school in British Columbia, Canada. Upon completing that course I opened my first grooming salon and for the following 6 years further honed my skills and grew the business . After moving to North Carolina and taking a number of years off to raise my family I reentered the grooming business through Petco. Two years later I decided to open Petropolitan because I missed the feel of a smaller scale salon environment.
I truly enjoy this business and couldn't be more confident in the quality of our work. Together we have more than 60 years experience!

Jill Capanna
My name is Jill and I have worked as a groomer at Petropolitan since May of 2012. I moved to Durham, NC from Palm Beach, Fl. In April of 2012 after working in Palm Beach County for over 20 years as an all-breed dog and cat groomer. Even after all these years I still love what I do!
I graduated from the North Jersey School of Dog Grooming and have continued my education by attending yearly seminars, shows and expos. The grooming world is always evolving and I feel it is important to keep up with new tools and knowledge of the trade. I also have attended coursework and am certified in animal first-aid and CPR.
